Rejuvenating Skin Peels
What can be treated with a Skin Peel?
Skin Peels can treat a variety of skin conditions on the face, neck, hands and back:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Pigmentation
- Dark spots
- Melasma
- Rosacea
- Mild to moderate acne
- Mild acne scarring
What is involved in the treatment?
Your practitioner will have assessed your skin at your consultation to decide which skin peel will give you the best result for your skin type or condition. When you come for your treatment, your skin will be cleansed to ensure that we have a clean and smooth surface for the peel to penetrate into the deeper layers. The peel will then be applied layer by layer, during the peel you may experience a mild tingling sensation but nothing unbearable. The peel will then be removed or neutralised, and aftercare products will be applied. Your practitioner will also supply a Post Procedure kit containing a five-day supply of a calming cleanser, moisturiser and SPF, and they will advise on how to use at home, if it is required.
How long will the results last?
Some people may notice a difference in their skin after just one treatment, however, to accomplish maximum results we do recommend a course of treatments. Every patient is different: skin condition, age and lifestyle are all factors in the level of results achieved and the on-going management of the condition. Following your treatment plan made by your practitioner will ensure your results are achieved and maintained.
