8 Point Lift

What is it?

The 8 Point Lift, otherwise known as a non-surgical facelift. This was created by world famous Brazilian Plastic Surgeon, Mauricio de Maio, author and international speaker on Vistabel®, dermal filler and minimally invasive techniques. As we age, areas of the face lose their volume, resulting in less firmness in the skin with some droopiness of the face. The 8 Point Lift targets 8 key areas using a long-lasting dermal filler, to create a beautiful, naturally lifted result that is subtle and long lasting, without the need for surgery. The 8 areas are a general guideline which will be tailored to your individual needs as every person differs.

What Can Be Treated?

Together, these changes will give your entire mid and lower face a noticeably lifted appearance, which is natural and subtle, without the severity of a surgical facelift.

What is involved in the treatment?

The 8 Point Lift uses the JUVÉDERM®. VYCROSS® dermal filler range to achieve maximum lifting effects. The treatment is performed using a very fine needle underneath the skin, followed with a very slow injection of a colourless smooth gel which immediately lifts static lines. You may feel a slight pinch as the needle is injected and mild stinging as the area is treated. The skin will then be massaged to ensure the product is distributed to the correct areas to achieve the desired results. The treatment normally takes between 45 minutes to one hour depending on your individual requirements.

How long will results last?

You will see the full result 4 weeks post treatment, in generally last from 12 to 14 months, however this differs, every patient is different from person to person, skin condition, age and lifestyle are all factors. Temporary fillers are safe, and they slowly dissolve naturally over several months.
